Welcome

Orientation is an experience not to be missed! It’s your chance to get familiar with the university, meet new people studying the same program as you, and learn some really important information to help you get started in your tertiary journey.  

Sessions for programs in the Faulty of Engineering Architecture and Information Technology will be held on Thursday the 19th of February 2026 for all Engineering and Computing degrees, and on Friday the 20th of February 2026 for Architecture, Design and Planning degrees.

The session that you register for will be based on the program that you are enrolled in. If you are unsure of this, you’ll find your program name on the offer letter that was emailed to you from the university.

EAIT Low Sensory Induction: Orientation Prep & Support – On Campus

Join us for an in-person, low-sensory orientation experience designed to help neurodivergent students feel comfortable and connected before Orientation Week. This session includes a campus tour highlighting low-sensory spaces, introductions to key UQ services, and opportunities to meet mentors and peers in a relaxed setting.
