5. Important documents
Please complete all tasks below, as they are essential for your acceptance in the Student Leader program – if you any questions, please reach out at we@eait.uq.edu.au.
Blue card
To work with children, you must have a Queensland blue card. It is a simple requirement that ensures everyone’s safety and well-being.
Please apply or for a blue card as a volunteer, and inform your account number, date of birth on the Checklist step so we can link you to UQ. If you already have a blue card, please inform us your card number, expiry and date of birth.
Note: Please contact us if there is a potential conflict with any work you do that requires the blue card, as we won’t override this existing link but need to know for our records.
Volunteer registration form
This applies to members of the community who donate their services in a voluntary capacity to the University without expectation of remuneration. Volunteers include those undertaking work on fundraising and community-oriented projects, tertiary students wishing to gain exposure to particular University functions, among others.
