Across four immersive days, students in Years 9–10 will experience what it’s like to think, create and problem-solve like engineers, architects, designers, planners, and computing professionals. Facilitated by expert lecturers and friendly UQ Student Ambassadors, this hands-on program provides real insight into future careers—while exploring UQ’s cutting-edge engineering, design, and computing precinct.

Day 1: Tuesday 1 July, 8:30am-3pm
Engineering 1: Build a Semi-autonomous Fire Truck
Day 2: Wednesday 2 July, 8:30am-3pm
Day 3: Thursday 3 July, 8:30am-3pm
Computing and Technology: Build and Code a Robotic Arm
Day 4: Friday 4 July, 8:30am-3pm

Important information
- Please note each workshop has a max capacity, and registrations will close once this number is reached.
- Students do not need to prepare anything before attending our workshops.
- Students can bring their own lunch or buy lunch from one of the food outlets on campus.
- Attendees are expected to stay with the group for the entire day.
- Registration closes 21 June 2025 (or unless sold out prior). Please register before the closing date.
- Images and videos may be taken for the use of marketing purposes, please advise event staff via email should you not want your or your childs photo taken.
