About School Holiday Engineering Tour - April

Join the UQ Women in Engineering team for a tour of the Engineering Precinct at UQ’s St Lucia campus. You’ll gain an exclusive insight into the cutting-edge teaching and learning facilities located within UQ’s Engineering Precinct.

Explore UQ Innovate, our unique makerspace where students and staff come together to bring their ideas to life through state-of-the-art equipment and modern technologies.

The Andrew N. Liveris Building is the home of Chemical Engineering on campus, supporting our researchers and students to address sustainability challenges facing our world to create positive change for developing populations. At 11 storeys high, the building is the tallest building on UQ’s St Lucia campus – we hope you’re not afraid of heights as we take a trip in the glass elevator!

You’ll also visit UQ’s Advanced Engineering Building, the greenest building on campus. Not only is the AEB environmentally friendly, but it also boasts a state-of-the-art GHD Auditorium, the largest auditorium at UQ with a seating capacity of over 500. With a “live building” design, you'll get to see sustainability in action and how the AEB has earned its 5 Star Green Star rating.

This is a free tour. Parents and guardians are most welcome to join.
