I’m here to answer any questions you have as an international student studying in the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology.

        Pre-orientation sessions

        Orientation sessions for EAIT international students

        On top of your Faculty and program information sessions, there are a number of compulsory and optional orientation sessions for EAIT international students, both online and on-campus. A summary of these are below for your quick reference:

        Repeated orientation sessions for EAIT international students

        The following sessions will be repeated for those who missed out during orientation week:

        As a new student it is important that you attended all your compulsory Orientation sessions. The Faculty of EAIT's Semester 2 2022 orientation schedule will be updated shortly. This includes the session for international students commencing EAIT studies.

        If you would like to improve your English language skills, UQ offers a range of services to help. These services have been designed to assist UQ students who identify English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) to develop their English language preferences across the following four areas: writing, reading, listening and/or speaking.
        Are you looking for a place to ask questions, meet other students and get involved? We are excited to welcome you to the EAIT International Student Mentoring program! In this program, you will find a group of student leaders ready to help you, as well as a wide range of online sessions with helpful information about starting at UQ.
        A range of articulation pathway options are available to international students who have undertaken tertiary studies.
