Who or what made you choose to study this?
My high school teacher who was previously an engineer inspired me to pursue a career in engineering. He was a great teacher who taught physics with passion and humour.
What’s been your favourite course so far and why?
Definitely MECH3100: Mechanical Systems Design, this is the most hands-on course you’ll do, and you really get out what you put into it! I had so much fun spending my days at UQ Innovate.
The best piece of advice I could give someone considering studying at UQ is…
Many people must say this, but really, being involved in clubs and other social activities has really been where I’ve developed all my soft skills. Also, the Engineering Without Borders Challenge is super cool and so is the Engineering Without Borders Design Summit, literally life-changing.
