Who or what made you choose to study this?
Electrical and Computer Engineering is a very vast subject and the concepts taught in the degree are used in almost everything around us. As a curious person, I believed choosing this degree will give me the answers to a lot of my questions.
What do you love most about your degree?
My degree is incredibly vast and it is used in every industry. From making mobile phones to rocket ships, an Electrical engineer and a Computer engineer are always required. I love that I have the opportunity to make an impact in everyday life with the help of my degree.
If you could give one piece of advice to someone considering studying at UQ, what would that be?
Use the several opportunities at UQ to not only improve an academic career but to also improve communication skills, leadership skills, etc. Try to build a network of like-minded people and try to put yourself out of your comfort zone. These experiences at university will not only help in the industry but will also create a fulfilling college experience.
