Why did you choose to study at UQ?
I chose to study at UQ because of wide range of majors which gave me a lot of options when I started univeristy. UQ is also well known to combine theoretical work in the classroom with practical hands-on experience to maximise student’s employability.
What do you love most about your degree?
I love the passion that tutors and lecturers have for their courses. This makes the degree more engaging. I was also inspired by astronauts and space flights which made me choose mechanical engineering.
If you could give one piece of advice to someone considering studying at UQ, what would that be?
If someone is considering studying at UQ, they should definitely attend open day to see what UQ has to offer. By attending open day in year 12, I knew that UQ was the university I wanted to attend because of the excellent teaching facilities for both theoretical and practical work
