Who or what made your choice to study this?
I always enjoyed mathematics and physics as my father was also a civil engineer.
Why did you choose to study at UQ?

I enjoy how challenging the course material is combined with great lectures and great practical experience.
What's been your favorite course so far and why?
My favorite course thus far has been CIVL3210, as it was delivered perfectly. The course staff were friendly and engaging and it changed my perception of soil mechanics.
If you could give one piece of advice to someone considering studying at UQ, what would that be?
Don't be nervous about the transition from high school to university. Just get involved, use the resources that are available to you, and know you aren't alone. Simply reach out if you are struggling.
