Who or what made you choose to study this?

My interest in medicine and our ongoing need and improvements in technological advancements, especially in the field of Medicine and Biology.

If you could give one piece of advice to someone considering studying at UQ, what would that be?

I know that you’re in university now, and you need to be an independent learner. But I hope one question can remain in your head for the remainder of your undergraduate years: “Am I still being inspired and feeling passionate as I was the last time I was learning something like this previously?” If you don’t feel the same feelings as you were before, I want you to know that you shouldn’t feel burdened when doing a degree. Do something that you really feel passionate about and while this seems obvious to some, I’ve met quite a few students and classmates who have switched degrees more than twice. You’re not alone here, and you should feel inspired to learn what you’re learning!
