Degree: Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil)

Who or what made you choose to study this?

Having grown up in a family of engineers, I chose to study civil engineering because of my preference for the creative and practical aspects of the industry and its ability to change people's perceptions of cities in practical terms.

What’s been your favourite course so far and why?

Geotechnical engineering is one of my favourite courses because it allows me to learn about the nature of the soil at the foundation stage of a building and the most important structural design of a building's foundations, as well as an in-depth study of the importance of underground structures. The hands-on experiments with models and group work made it possible to combine theory and practice.
