Degree: Master of Interaction Design
Who or what made you choose to study this?
My interest and passion for design which was also partly backed up by my background in design where I completed a Bachelor of Architecture, working as an architect and later transitioning to a UX Designer and my desire to develop my skills in the design stream particularly focusing on human centric design made me choose this degree.
If you could give one piece of advice to someone considering studying at UQ, what would that be?
“Make the best use of everything that UQ has to offer you”. UQ offers a lot in terms of academics, personal and professional growth. Always be on the lookout for new opportunities as it the best place to find one every other day.
Are you a member of any student societies / participate in extra curricular activities? Tell us a bit about it.
I am a volunteer with UQU and APS. I love being a part of a community hence signed up as a volunteer in these student clubs. I help in facilitating events hoisted by these clubs where I make the new members and students feel welcomed and give a bit of the student life experience to them.
What do you hope to do when you graduate?
I hope to hone my skills in the professional industry as a Designer / Developer.
