What’s been your favourite course so far and why?
ENG1500, I did this first year and met so many good friends who I am friends with today, and loved the format of consistently doing weekly workshops and the content was interesting and am looking to tutor the step-up course when I finish it this semester.
Have you participated in any internships/work? If so tell us a bit about it, what did you enjoy most about the experience?
I’ve completed several internships and they have had very unique and different experiences. Hard to say in a short amount of words. I’ve found most enjoyable is the people that I have met and the mentorship that I have gained giving me a better idea of what I want to do as a career.
If you could give one piece of advice to someone considering studying at UQ, what would that be?
Take the most of the opportunities and connections you’ll get. It's more than just doing courses, it’s the whole community and the people you will meet will shape your life.
