Why did you choose to study at UQ?
Honestly, it's always been a dream of mine to study at UQ since primary school, when I was younger mostly because I thought UQ looked beautiful and I thought it had a glamorous aesthetic. However, I mostly chose UQ because of its ranking as one of the top universities not just in Australia but worldwide. Also, I love how much support UQ offers its students, especially in terms of career guidance.
What’s been your favourite course so far and why?
ENGG1001, I hated coding when I started the course but slowly through the assignments I really started to enjoy the satisfaction of coding and debugging programs. Can’t say I am amazing at it, but when you get a program right, it feels so satisfying!
If you could give one piece of advice to someone considering studying at UQ, what would that be?
Do everything during your first year. Go to classes, play sports, join the clubs, go to the balls and parties. Make your time at UQ worth remembering
