Master of Engineering

Degree: Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Master of Engineering (Mechanical and Aerospace)

Who or what made you choose to study this?

It has always been a passion of mine to become an Aerospace Engineer one day (since the 8th grade). The main influence would be my love for engines and my interest in the subject of Engineering in general. My father also being an Engineer, was a great role model for me from a very young age and helped shape me to make the decision that I want to continue the legacy too.

If you could give one piece of advice to someone considering studying at UQ, what would that be?

UQ is ideal for professional career growth as it helps to set your standard high and hone your skills to become an expert in whatever you want to pursue. The plethora of connections, societies, and extracurricular activities are invaluable.

What do you hope to do when you graduate?

Secure an internship in Boeing Aerospace ideally before I graduate and then go straight into the company as an Aerospace/Propulsion Engineer.
I plan to pick up the professional skills in the company and eventually start my firm with a focus on engineering/designing propulsion systems for space vehicles.
