The Regional Futures Tour will inspire interest in STEM among high school students in rural and remote Queensland.

The tour will provide free interactive workshops that explore the disciplines of engineering, design, computing, planning and architecture.

Students in Years 9-10 will meet university students and industry professionals and gain practical knowledge and confidence in developing transferrable STEM skills through inquiry-based learning.

We've partner with industry to bring real-life examples of where students can find themselves working in the future. Students will have the chance to find out just where a degree at UQ can take them!

The tour will focus on three locations, these are the Darling Downs (Chinchilla, Roma, Dalby, Oakey, Toowoomba), the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay (Caloundra, Gympie, Nambour), and North Queensland (Townsville, Ingham, Charters Towers).
