Date: Wednesday 9th September 2026

Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm AEST

Location: Room S201, Hawken Engineering Building (50), UQ St Lucia Campus (followed by lunch on the CIRES terrace, Level 5 Hawken)

How do we harness the benefits of Enterprise AI while preserving the human capabilities that drive innovation, judgement, resilience, and trust?

Our first session will feature a panel discussion moderated by Professor Tim Miller, with Dr Sarah Bentley, Associate Professor Ida Asadi, and Professor Deborah Brown. Drawing on diverse disciplinary perspectives, the panel will explore how AI is reshaping expertise, learning, decision-making, and professional judgement, and what this means for the future of work and organisations.

Designed to foster intellectual exchange, new connections, and community building across UQ, this interactive event provides an opportunity for academics, PhD candidates, and postdoctoral researchers to engage with colleagues from across disciplines and contribute to a thought-provoking discussion on important challenges facing Enterprise AI.
