Kristie Young - Professional Board Director

Kristie Young began her career as a mining engineer in the mid 90's after graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) Hons in 1995. Whilst at UQ she was Treasurer of the Engineering Undergraduate Society (EUS) and Treasurer of UQ's Mining and Metallurgy Association (MAMA).
Kristie worked across both underground and open cut operations (Mt Isa Mines, Plutonic Gold, Hamersley Iron, Gunpowder Copper, New Hampton Goldfields and Surpac) before her career moved to include roles in Executive Search (mining sector), Lecturing at Curtin University WA (Mine Finance & Economics) and Business Development Director roles with professional services firms EY and PwC.
Today, Kristie is a professional Board Director serving as a Non-Executive Director with Brazilian Rare Earths Ltd (ASX:BRE), Livium Ltd (ASX:LIT), Corazon Mining Ltd (ASX:CZN), Tasmea Ltd (ASX:TEA) and MinEx CRC. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma of Education (Maths, IT) UWA 2001, CertIV HR (AHRI) 2014, is a Graduate and Fellow of the AICD and a Fellow of the AusIMM.
