The core theme of the day is Women in Computing, showcasing Design Thinking with workshops and a panel session with UQ students to discuss interactive design. After lunch, you will visit the UQ Interaction Design Exhibit and play, test, and provide user feedback on solutions designed by UQ students.

10:15 am: Welcome

We will meet at the Advanced Engineering Building (49), room 316A.

10:30 am: Design Thinking Workshop

Unlock your creativity and be introduced to the concepts of Design Thinking. Then put this new knowledge to the test by designing your own wearable technology.

11:30 pm: Panel Discussion

Meet the Women in Computing Student Leaders, whose mission is to help high school students in their transition to university.

12:00 pm: Lunch and Campus Tour

Enjoy a delicious lunch on us, and explore the campus on a guided tour.

1:00 pm: UQ Interaction Design Exhibit

Don’t miss this great opportunity to see how UQ's future user experience design professionals bridge the gap between the physical and digital world!

This year, UQ will again host interactive prototypes developed by Bachelor of Information Technology (User Experience Design major) and Master of Interaction Design students from the Physical Computing and Interaction Design Studio course.
