EECS New Colombo Plan Project

Are you looking to supercharge your career with a unique innovation and entrepreneurship experience in Dalian, China? This New Colombo Plan (NCP) funded internship program offers an unparalleled opportunity to immerse yourself in the cutting-edge world of IT innovation and entrepreneurship while exploring the rich culture of this dynamic city.

The program will support 15 students who are enrolled in relevant programs in EAIT’s School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science to participate in a five-week program based in Dalian, China.

The NCP is a signature initiative of the Australian Government which aims to lift knowledge of the Indo-Pacific in Australia by supporting Australian undergraduates to study and undertake internships in the region.

The project builds on UQ’s links with Neusoft and Dalian Neusoft University of Information. Selected students will each be offered a mobility grant of AU$ 4,000 to support costs, including flights, program fees, and incidental expenses. Please see more information in the ‘Costs’ section below.
