EAIT Orientation - IT and Computer Science Programs

Come and s'EAIT Information Technology and Computer Science students: a full day of activities awaits!

EXPO from 10 am

First up, visit the EAIT Expo at level 3 of the Advanced Engineering Building, where you can learn about everything the university and your faculty have to offer. Visit our student society city, hear about our global opportunities, or UQ innovate all while enjoying treats like doughnuts and popcorn. Oh! and make sure to grab your free UQ t-shirt before you go! 

Welcome Session 12 pm-1 pm

Then head downstairs to attend the ITEE Welcome Session on level 2, room 200 of the Advanced Engineering Building where you'll learn all the important stuff, like what student societies you can join, hacks for navigating SI-net and why you must check your student emails. This session is delivered by students, for students so expect insider tips and those who've been here before you.

Design Workshop 1 pm-3 pm

Follow us down to the UQ Centre for your design workshop. Put your problem-solving skills to the test and meet other students while designing a structure.
