About Careers in Resources: Engineering pathways and industry insights
Join EAIT Employability for an industry session exploring the diverse career opportunities available across Queensland’s resources sector.
Open to EAIT undergraduate and postgraduate students, this event will provide an introduction to the mining and resources industry, including energy, critical minerals and Mining Equipment, Technology and Services (METS).
Hear from industry representatives about where engineering skills are in demand, how careers can develop from graduate roles into specialist and leadership positions, and what employers value in students and early-career professionals.
The session will include industry presentations, a panel discussion and informal networking. You will also learn about ways to engage with the sector while studying, including internships, vacation work, mentoring, professional memberships and graduate opportunities.
