About Study Skills Workshops | Planning, deadlines and study groups

Looking for practical study strategies you can use this semester? These upcoming study skills workshops for EAIT students will share practical ways to manage study time, keep track of assessment deadlines and make study groups more effective. Separate sessions are available for 1st year students and for students in 2nd year and above, with both in-person and online registration options.
For 1st year students
Starting uni can feel like a lot, especially when it comes to managing your time, keeping track of assessment, and figuring out how to study well with others. This workshop is designed to help first-year EAIT students build practical study habits that can make semester feel more manageable.
What to expect:
- Learn simple ways to plan your study time and manage competing priorities
- Explore practical tips for keeping track of assessment deadlines
- Find out what makes a study group actually helpful, and how to build one that works
- Reflect on your current study habits and pick up strategies you can start using straight away
- Leave with practical tools to help you feel more organised and confident in your studies

For 2nd year and above
As your degree gets busier, it can become even more important to stay on top of your time, assessment deadlines and study commitments. This workshop is designed for EAIT students in second year and above who want practical strategies to stay organised and make study groups more useful and productive.
What to expect:
- Learn simple ways to plan your study time and manage a busy semester
- Explore practical tips for organising assessment deadlines and staying on track
- Find out what makes a study group actually helpful, especially around assignments and exams
- Reflect on your current approach and pick up strategies to help you work more efficiently
- Leave with practical tools to help you stay organised, focused and prepared throughout semester
