TechnologyOne takeover: FutureWork Immersion kicks off
We launched the first ever FutureWork Immersion this month, taking students into the workplace where they got the chance to workshop solutions to real industry problems.
Trying something new is always a bit of a risk—but when 30 lucky students walked into the sleek HQ of TechnologyOne, with 40 more still on the waitlist, we knew we were onto something special.
From the moment students set foot in the office, the vibe was electric. A quick tour showed off the perks of working at TechOne—think a fully decked-out gym, chill break zones, gaming consoles, and of course… snacks. Lots of snacks.
But it wasn’t just about the fun stuff. Students got a front-row seat to what makes TechOne tick, with an exclusive tech demo and an inside look at the challenges currently facing the industry. Armed with this knowledge, the group rolled up their sleeves and got to work brainstorming real-world solutions in teams.
Even better? TechOne mentors were right there in the room, jumping into discussions, offering feedback, and coaching students through their ideas. This wasn’t just a sneak peek—it was a hands-on experience of what a future career could look like.
The day wrapped up on a high, as students pitched their innovative ideas to a panel of TechOne experts. It wasn’t just about learning—it was about being heard, showing off those uni-honed skills, and connecting with potential employers in a meaningful way.
