Hosted by the EAIT Student Employability Team:

Join us for an insightful masterclass and hear from David Jorm, Head of Security x15, CommBank’s venture scaler. You’ll learn about modern ways of working, how to navigate modern workplace dynamics and how to use your insights during the recruitment process.

Session topic: How to decode company culture to master your recruitment game

This session will outline the different ways of working in modern workplaces, from a face-to-face culture, hybrid, through to fully remote companies. Understand the different ways to engage in communication and the interview process in the context of these patterns of working. You will also learn ways of working that match your personality, and how to identify a company's way of working before engaging in the recruitment process.

This masterclass will have 3 components:
1. Identify different company work styles, using past examples from the presenter's work history. Learn how to identify a company's work style when applying for a job. Use this knowledge to your advantage during the recruitment process.
2. Applying this to the Commonwealth Bank environment, giving insight into the bank's way of working and how people can engage with the early career talent programs of the bank.

About x15:

X15 is a venture scaler powered by CommBank. We build, buy, and invest in startups that would benefit from connections to Australia’s leading bank, and could improve the lives of its customers.

We sit in the unique space between corporate and startup. Close enough to benefit from the bank's strategy, scale and stability, but separate enough that we have the autonomy to try new things.
