Who or what made you choose to study this?
I decided to study this program because I believe that cybersecurity and AI are two significant concepts for the future as I explore my career options.
Why did you choose to study at UQ?
I attended the UQ Open Day when I was in year 12, and there were also UQ ambassadors came to my school to give a presentation about the life in UQ. I really enjoyed the UQ events and meeting those ambassadors, hence I decided to study at UQ.
What do you love most about your degree?
Programming is about practice. Although I struggled at the start when learning a new programming language, consistent practice has helped me improve my skills. Seeing my progress over time has made me feel more confident.
What’s been your favourite course so far and why?
DECO1400 and COMP2140. I really enjoyed working on front-end development, and seeing the progress of my work makes me feel more confident and proud of the effort I put in.
