Master of Cyber Security Capstone Project
Master of Cyber Security students can choose to complete either a research or industry project for their capstone course. The capstone project aims to equip students with the skills required to undertake a substantial research-informed project within either an academic or organisational/business context.
Spanning two semesters, students will spend one day per week on average working on the industry project in semester 1 and three days per week on average for Semester 2. The location and type of contact hours will be defined by your host supervisor, typically this will be eight hours per day.
How can industry support?
Industry projects are advertised to students via an online projects board where students can review and apply directly to your organisation. Students are working towards the below self-placement close dates. We recommend you promote your opportunity with enough time for shortlisting, interviews, and selection of student to submit by the Self placement close date.
Self-placement close date
Semester 1: 12 January
Semester 2: 30 June
