What's Zoom?

Zoom allows you to communicate via video, audio and instant messaging, as well as share live screens or presentations. All staff and students have access to Zoom, which can be installed on both Windows and Mac systems.

UQ provides help and support for installing Zoom.

This session is for all new undergraduate and postgraduate international students joining the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology.

This session will provide information and tips to help international students settle into their studies in Australia.

You will learn about additional support that is available to international students and meet staff and other students from across the Faculty.

How to join your session

This Orientation session will be hosted online via Zoom on 30 July 2020 at 3.45pm-4.30pm.

  1. Before your session starts, make sure you have Zoom installed on your device and are able to log in with your UQ username and password.
  2. On the day of the event, a link to the session will become available. Hit the button to 'Launch session' and join a live Zoom meeting.
