Starting at UQ is a step-by-step guide to planning your studies, and includes all the new-student basics you'll need to know to get started:

 Get to know the First Year Engineering Learning Centre

The First Year Engineering Learning Centre (FYELC 50-C201) is your place to call home while on campus.

It is a place you can meet other first year engineering students, get some extra help from tutors, ask our friendly staff questions, or to find a place to study or do some team work.

 Attend Orientation

Orientation is scheduled for 10am–3.30pm on Tuesday 20 July 2021.

If you are a flexible mode (on-campus) student, you should register and attend the on-campus activites. If you are an external students, or can't make it to campus of orientation week, you will be able to attend your orientation session online via Zoom.
