Hands-on group workshops

Experience UQ for yourself, or let us bring the UQ experience to you with a hands-on group workshop led by our friendly student ambassadors.

Whether you have a student group you’d like to bring on-campus, or you just want your students to experience what life at university is like, we offer a range of practical experiences for high school students throughout the year that align to the curriculum. On-campus workshops will be available when events are safely able to resume.

While our on-campus events are currently paused, our team of ambassadors are available to host group workshops at your school.

Booking and Cost:

Bookings are available from Monday to Friday of each week. Some workshops include a fee of $200 +GST to cover the cost of workshop materials. Schools with an ICSEA rating of less than 950 can request for a discounted rate of $50 (inc GST) per class. Check your school’s ICSEA rating here.

School visits include a 35-minute presentation followed by a five-minute Q&A session, and we can tailor the presentation to meet your needs.

We regularly attend high school careers markets throughout the year. Our experienced student ambassadors are available to attend your school to provide information about studying at UQ to your students. And we have lots of free goodies to give away!
