The aim of this session is to share current practice and capture learnings associated with implementing Critical Control Management processes.

The proposed agenda for the day is:

  • Welcome
  •  “Lest we forget” – important risk management lessons from Pike River and Hazelwood – David Cliff
  •  Overview of critical control - Maureen Hassall
  • Exercising key parts of critical control paradigm shift – Maureen Hassall
  • Debrief group exercise – Maureen Hassall
  • Extending critical control approach to health and well-being – Jill Harris

The day will be facilitated by Professor David Cliff, Dr Maureen Hassall and UQ Research Fellow Jill Harris. Perth Conference and Exhibition Centre, 10am-4pm.
