  • Background: Worked across 5 universities in areas of credentialing, online and blended course development, academic support, online curriculum review and enhancement, project coordination and development, simulation scoping and mobile learning development.
  • Expertise: Mobile learning, activity based learning, situated learning, collaborative learning, credentialing and appropriate use of educational technology.
  • Interests: Skiing, asian food, cycling and exploring the natural beauty or our planet.
 
Melanie Fleming, Educational Researcher
  • Qualifications: MEd, GCert Higher Ed, B.A.
  • Background: Over 15 years in Australian HE, including curriculum reform, evaluation, design. Academic development, including flexible learning. T&L grants, awards and proposal review and development
  • Expertise: Research interests into students’ transition into and out of university

  • Background: Developed courses and curriculum in five (5) countries, both in the private sector and government organisations
  • Expertise: Course and curriculum design, teacher training, Architecture and Design, ESL.
  • Interests: Online Education, Social constructivism, Multicultural learning needs
 
James Hardy, Learning Technologist
  • Qualifications: BSc (Entomology and Zoology), GCert Science Communication
  • Background: Experience in developing online resources for enhancing the student learning experience (including film and animation) and providing technical support for a variety of devices and platforms.
  • Expertise: Film and animation, technical troubleshooting, effective and efficient communication.
