EPP Hub frequently asked questions

Q: What is the EPP Hub? 

A: The new EPP system is referred to as your EPP Hub. You will access your EPP Hub through StudentHub. 

Q: I have already had my EPP approved in the current EPP system. Do I have to transition to my EPP Hub? 

No. If you have submitted and received approval for all 450 EPP hours in the current EPP system and have also submitted your reflections to Blackboard before the deadline of 20 September 2024, then your EPP status will be complete, and you’ll see this reflected in your mySI-net Studies Report.  You won’t need to transition to your EPP Hub. 

However, if you have had all your EPP hours approved, but have not submitted your reflections by 20 September 2024, your EPP status will be incomplete, and you will need to finalise your EPP via your EPP Hub. Your previously approved EPP hours will be transferred over from the current EPP system to your EPP Hub on your behalf.  

Q: I have claimed some of my EPP hours in the current EPP system, but I have not completed all required hours, do I have to claim these hours again in my EPP Hub? 

You will have to transition to your EPP Hub. Any approved hours in the current EPP system will be transferred over for you. The transfer process will take place between December 2024 and January 2025 and both systems will be unavailable to students during this time. From February 2025, your EPP Hub will be available for you to continue to complete your remaining EPP. 

Q: I haven’t claimed any hours in the current EPP system yet, but I have completed 450 hours of EPP. Can I claim these in the current EPP system, or do I have to transition to my EPP Hub in StudentHub? 

If you are graduating in Semester 2, 2024, you must submit your EPP hours and reflections via the current process and system by 20 September 2024.  

If you are not graduating in Semester 2, 2024, we still recommend you finish up your EPP hours and reflections in the current EPP System. This must be submitted by 20 September 2024. 

Q: I have completed and claimed part of my EPP in the current EPP system. How can I claim my remaining hours? 

Any approved hours that you’ve claimed in the current EPP system will be transferred to your EPP Hub on your behalf between December 2024 and January 2025. Your EPP Hub will be accessible from February 2025 and you can claim new hours after this. You will be able to access information on how to access your EPP Hub via the EPP website.
