The Engineering Postgraduate Conference (EPC) 2017 is the 9th annual conference organised by the UQ School of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology (EAIT). The event showcases the research being undertaken by postgraduate students within the Faculty and provides the opportunity to promote collaboration between external research groups, academics and industry supporters.
The Conference forms an important part of the research training experience of students within the Faculty, providing an opportunity for students to supplement their technical and scientific training with essential transferable skills in communicating the impact of their research and conversing with others from different disciplines.
The underlying theme for the 2017 conference is Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and this will be evident in keynote speeches throughout the day. The EPC committee is actively searching for industry or academic sponsors to share in this event. This aims to allow students the opportunity to build working relationships to assist in their future endeavours, whether that is to launch a company of their own or to inspire innovation and growth in the research lab or out in the field. If you would like to read more about sponsorship opportunities, go to the Sponsors tab.
