What's Zoom?

Zoom allows you to communicate via video, audio and instant messaging, as well as share live screens or presentations. All staff and students have access to Zoom, which can be installed on both Windows and Mac systems.

UQ provides help and support for installing Zoom.

The EAIT Online Expo is a networking event for all new and continuing students in the Faculty.

Connect with clubs and societies and learn about the many services available to you as an EAIT student, including employability support, scholarships, Women In Engineering, UQ Innovate and exchange opportunities.

You'll meet your fellow students and gain valuable tips for making the most of your time at UQ.

There are a series of digital booths available to visit for EAIT services and groups, and EAIT Clubs and Societies  you can browse all of the available booths below.

Drop in and have a chat at any time between 3.45pm–5.30pm, or watch a presentation at the specified time.

How to join a booth

This digital expo will be hosted online via Zoom on 30 July 2020 at 3.45pm–5.30pm.

  1. Before the expo starts, make sure you have Zoom installed on your device and are able to log in with your UQ username and password.
  2. On the day of the event, a link to each booth will become available. Click the button to 'Join booth' and join a live Zoom meeting.
