Get Hired 101 – A Comprehensive How-To Workshop for Prospective Graduates

An introduction to online applications, assessment centers and interviews hosted by Ford Motor Company

Ford of Australia has a proud history of attracting and retaining top talent to develop a skilled, motivated and collaborative team. Our people are critical to our continued success, which is why we now offer a comprehensive graduate program, Ford sponsored final year projects and potential internship opportunities. We will be traveling to UQ with the purpose of offering students a valuable insight into the hiring process by running a graduate recruitment workshop which will touch on online applications, testing, and interview preparation. Additionally, with the help of Gillian Pogson (Engineering Manager and Graduate Recruitment Lead), Rhiannon Gardiner (Engineering Graduate) and Lachlan Gosper (Engineering Graduate), we intend to raise awareness of the graduate experience in Product Development at Ford. Although the day is geared toward engineering students from all disciplines, we are interested in graduates from a broad mix of degree types including finance and marketing.

For your information, we are planning to have effectively two sessions (one hour each):

1) Job Application and Interview Workshop (details above)

2) Introduction to Ford: Short presentation on what Ford has to offer students (graduate program, internships, project work), followed by a 30-40 minute ‘panel’ session with the two graduates who will be traveling with me, to answer any questions from students

Hurry and register your attendance today, as there are only limited spots available!

Out of respect to the presenter and to avoid being turned away, please ensure you arrive on time.
