Would you like the opportunity to travel to Europe for free to participate in an engineering workshop with your peers from around the world?

The EAIT Faculty is currently seeking five outstanding students to represent UQ at a collaborative engineering workshop with partner institutions from Denmark, Korea and Singapore.

Selected students will participate in a study workshop in Copenhagen Denmark during the mid-semester break from 25 June - 7 July 2018, with all expenses included (return flights, workshop, accommodation, meals, sightseeing). Students attending the workshop will be eligible to claim 80 hours towards their Professional Practice requirements.

Registrations close 5:00pm Thursday 19 April 2018

To be eligible to apply, students must meet the following criteria:

  1. Currently studying in the BE/ME program or 4th year B Engineering
  2. Studying a major from the School of Chemical Engineering or a Mechanical and Materials Engineering major
  3. Cumulative GPA is 5.75 or above
  4. Holds a current passport
  5. Must be available to travel to Copenhagen, Denmark from the 15 June - 7 July 2018
