Leeanne Bond - Professional Board Director

Leeanne Bond (UQ Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, UQ MBA) has more than 30 years experience in energy transition leadership, infrastructure and project governance, innovation and entrepreneurship and workplace diversity and inclusion. Leeanne has also completed the UQ Oxford executive leadership course with Saïd Business School.
She is a professional non-executive director and is currently Deputy Chair and lead independent director of FPR Energy and an independent non-executive director of Tilt Renewables, Aurecon Limited, One Basin CRC Limited and The Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE). Leeanne previously chaired the Queensland Energy System Advisory Board (QESAB) and has served on the boards of entities including Snowy Hydro, Clean Energy Finance Corporation, Territory Generation, Synertec, Mining3, and Tarong Energy.
She also chaired the Minerals to Megawatts Cooperative Research Centre Bid for QUT and served on the board of JKTech Pty Ltd, the technology transfer company for the Sustainable Minerals Institute at UQ. Leeanne is an industry fellow working with with the UQ Business School as Director of Mentoring for the new UQ-Oxford Transformative Project Leadership Program.
Leeanne is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of Chief Executive Women. She is an Honorary Fellow of Engineers Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering. She is also a recipient of the Vice-Chancellor's Alumni Excellence Award, recognised for excellence in business and engineering and a deep commitment to innovation and sustainability.
