The Faculty Workshop Group has two supervised facilities which are available for use by undergraduate students. Access is available upon completion of the workshop safety induction process.

The facilities available include a wood/light material machining workshop for use by architecture students and an Instrumentation Workshop which provides instrumentation support and electronic test & assembly work-stations available to all undergraduate students within the EAIT Faculty.Details on how to access these facilities can be found by following the links below.

Events such as tutorial sessions and equipment bookings for some undergraduate courses are administered by the Instrumentation Workshop. Bookings for these can be made by enrolling onto the relevant session in the EAIT Student Event Booking System.

FWG Electrical Workshop staff also undertake the electrical safety testing (Test & Tag) of equipment, such as AC adaptors/chargers for personal laptops and mobile phones and other electrical items.
