The UQ Winter Research Program provides students with an opportunity to work with a researcher in a formal research environment and discover what research is being undertaken in their field of interest at UQ.
The program runs during the UQ winter vacation period for between 4-6 weeks. The program is open to undergraduate students who have completed at least 1 year of study; Masters by coursework students from The University of Queensland as well a students from other international or Australian universities.
All Winter Research placements are awarded competitively, and role allocation is decided by the Faculty, School, Research Centre or Institute where the research is undertaken.
Dates: June 2013 – July 2013
