Physical Learning Spaces

Virtual Learning Spaces

UQ Teaching and Learning Spaces are recognised as international benchmarks for excellence and innovation and have attracted interest worldwide. The University has pioneered collaborative teaching and learning spaces and maximised opportunities for active learning and interaction. Today's design of learning spaces extend beyond physical borders into virtual spaces.

eLearning can have many faces. Effective technology and facilitation create opportunities to network, collaborate and excel within the university and beyond: at work, in the field, in the community.

Learning management system, web-conferencing and lecture recording provide new opportunities for students and lecturers to create, share and discuss resources, lectures and learning materials. It is possible to participate in team-meetings, lectures, webinars and tutorials anywhere, anytime from a mobile device or computer. UQ’s Mobile Learn and iTunesU add mobility to learning and allow access to course learning materials from mobile devices.
