The Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology welcomes international students. A growing number of students from North and South America, Asia and Europe are enrolling in our quality undergraduate, postgraduate and Study Abroad programs.
A range of policies and procedures have been developed by the University to assist students with disabilities. All information relating to disabilities is treated with strict confidence.

UQ Bonus Rank Scheme

Non-Award Enrolment
If you have the skills and background to enrol in individual courses, but you are not qualified to enter an award program, you may be eligible to enrol as a domestic non-award student on a fee-paying basis, for training purposes. This option is not available to international students.
The University's Enhanced Studies program allows students in selected high schools to enrol in first year level university courses, while completing their Year 12 studies.
Postgraduate Coursework Programs
A number of postgraduate coursework programs, many especially tailored for industry and professional needs, are available. Initial enquiries regarding eligibility should be directed to the School or Centre offering the program. A prospectus is available for programs within the School of Information Technology & Electrical Engineering.
Postgraduate Research Programs
Postgraduate research programs, the Master of Philosophy and the Doctor of Philosophy, are available in all academic disciplines in the Faculty. A Master of Engineering (Advanced Professional) research degree is also available.
