Academic advisers are academic staff members who can provide enrolled students with advice on the selection of suitable courses for your program so that you achieve your career aspirations. Specialist academic advisers are nominated by the schools and centres to assist undergraduate students in the various years of their programs and also to assist candidates for postgraduate coursework awards.

Academic advisers can also assist you with obtaining approval for certain matters relating to your studies, as defined in the Faculty Student Administration Procedures.

See More Information for the Academic Advisers for each school.

If you need to check which school is responsible for the program you are enrolled in, consult the list of EAIT Programs offered by each school.

The list of academic advisers' locations are in the format "Building Number-Room Number". The University map for the St Lucia Campus can assist you to match the building numbers with the buildings.

If you cannot find an appropriate academic adviser for your program or plan, staff in the Faculty Office are happy to assist.  The Faculty Office is located in Room S204 in the Hawken Engineering Building.

Students in postgraduate research programs should consult the UQ Graduate School website for a list of postgraduate coordinators in the EAIT Faculty.
