Production Technology - CPD only

The aim of this 5-day course is to provide an understanding of the principles and basic practice of production technology, with regards to the productivity of oil and gas wells. The content of this course includes the design, installation and operation of down-hole and surface systems, to optimise the controlled recovery of pipeline quality crude oil and gas. Safety and the ability to respond to changing situations are important considerations.

This course forms part of the Master of Petroleum Engineering program, there are a limited number of CPD places available for individuals who seek a better understanding of this subject, but who are not registered to the Masters program.
CPD participants will receive a certificate of attendance on completion of the full 5-day course. Participants will be taught by University of Queensland academics, and introduced to industry practitioners and experts
