Geoscience for Petroleum Engineers - CPD only

The aim of this 5-day course is to provide an understanding of the principles and basic practice of petroleum geoscience. The content of this course is concerned with the origin, structure and internal geometry of reservoirs and the creation, migration and entrapment of hydrocarbons. Geological models form the basis for reserve estimation and development planning.

This course forms part of the Master of Petroleum Engineering program, there are a limited number of CPD places available for individuals who seek a better understanding of this subject, but who are not registered to the Masters program.
CPD participants will receive a certificate of attendance on completion of the full 5-day course. Participants will be taught by University of Queensland academics, and introduced to industry practitioners and experts
